remember all the colours that you aren't supposed to use together?

...you know...*blue and green, never should be seen*...and the *fact* that red and pink clash horribly? well i thought i'd go for it on this page...and use just those 4 colours!!! let me know what you think...i really like it! ;0)

this page is also my response to Shimelle's prompt to use up flowers that have been languishing in my stash pile for a while...and i managed to get 12 paper, 2 fabric, one shaped brad...and a whopping great Prima flower that i hadn't been able to bring myself to use! i also used up a scrap of floral die~cut paper...and a little doily {how do you spell that, i wonder...?} i'm also thinking it qualifies for her *use your metal embellishments* prompt too...as i squeezed 16 brads int there too! lol

do you recognise the Sizzis die i've used to make the sprig coming off the large rose? its the same one i used here...but it looks totally different as a rose, huh? ;0)

i did get 6 brads and a metal word *friend*...which i've co~ordinated using alcohol inks...and everything else {except the bling} is from my scraps pile...old, old stash...given a new lease of life!
