because i wanted to show lots of ideas for what to do with the roses once you've mastered and become addicted to making them...i attached one to a pony~tail band...which i'm wearing above...one to a hair~clip which Paula is modelling...
... i made a mini~bouquet out of 3 roses wired together...
and for Rosie...i made a pink blingy rose...to go with that enormous rock she's just acquired...and used it to make a fun flip~flop shaped picture frame for a photo of the holiday she's just about to go on! of course...there are lots of other things you could do with them...personally i love them on picture frames...on Linda's coasters...on shoes...even as earrings...but you could just have them as they are...gorgeous! :0)I'm not bothering to add a tutorial as there are hundreds out there...check Linda's blog for a good one...but i will leave you with this little hint:
***Hint***
the securest way i've found to attach your flowers to things that move is:
use your pokey tool to make a hole straight through the middle of the rose {ie through the bud and out at the pointed bottom}...then thread a small bead onto a length of wire...manoeuvre it to the middle and twist to make a needle with a small~tadpole~with~a~long#tail~shape...poke this bead first into the bud and out the other side...then wrap the remaining wire around hair~clips, onto flip~flops or where ever takes your fancy!
go on...have a go...if these two can do it...so can you! ;0)
