WOYWW...?

hi Wednesday workspacers!
firstly a bit of an apology...i seemed to somehow insert a link to March in last week's posting...so although it was lovely to have so many unseasonal Birthday wishes...you may not have actually seen what was on my desk!! lol
it was in fact...a wine crate...naked and ready for painting...and now here it is...on my wall...proudly displaying my collection of favourite inkpads!

while i had the paint out...i decided to paint the edges of my most used inkpads and label them so i'd know which was which :0)

as you can see from my Stazon collection...it does not pay to be mean with the paint...a good thick layer makes a much better label!

using the wine crate like this, is not only handy for ink storage...its also created a shelf for me to display the *CREATE* sign that someone gave me forever ago...which leads me on to whats going to be on my desk today...that sign is...as its only half~way through its transformation into something lovely!
hope you all have a sunny, productive Wednesday...and if this post has left you totally baffled...pop over to Julia's she'll explain all :0)

great storage alix, you have more patience than me, I printed labels and taped them on, couldn't wait for paint to dry lol

Love the Create sign, I have an 'Altered Art' one that I bought years ago...it's unfinished, actually I think it might be unstarted lol

Great storage solution and soooo neat! love your CREATE sign too.
Yes! the Cinch is great to use and my friend's 3 year old could push it down to cut the holes quite easily. Haven't made anything fully yet, just played, but another friend has queried squashing the spiral strips down so I'll have to try it out fully.

How great of you to come up with the idea to use a wine storer to store your inks. Wouldn't work for me though, I would still be able to knock of most of them as I was reaching for the bottom one :)
Have a nice day!

I know I am really late this week, but I was glad I made it by to see that wine rack used as storage space. Looks like you can't be frugal with some paint (grin). I'm crazy about that CREATE piece, too. Happy belated WOYWW.
