  1. Why are you cutting up your fav skirt! I thought at first you had made the skirt and this was the leftovers and you are making a coursage type brooch to match!

  2. I think you may have cut up your favourite skirt because you its no longer wearable eg hole stain, just too worn and it was too nice to waste it I think you might be making flowers out of fabric

  6. Hi Alix. It's going to be a bangle that was an inspiration from ME! *Ü* I'm thinking you are making it to match a new outfit that you are creating from the rest of your favourite skirt! LOL. It's pretty - I like. TFS. ~Glen~

  8. I am thinking the only reason to cut up a fave item is if you got ink or glue on it, or maybe it got caught and ripped?

What are you making, hmmm a lampshade? lmao sorry random thought, but it was the first that popped into my head hahaha

  9. I think your going to layer them all together and make a beautiful flower brooch. Shame about having to cut up your favourite skirt, that really is dedication! I look forward to seeing what you have done with it.

  10. Gawd Alix..is it a very long skirt that is now gonna be a bit shorter and have some lovely embellished flowers on it? I give in, but I do love the look of your plan!

  11. My guess is that you're making a flower to add to a bag or a cardigan, or something like that - eg wearable art! Had you gone off the favourite skirt??

  12. ROFL.... I cut up a tshirt a few weeks ago to use them to make Tattered FLoral flowers to decorate my mates bra's... for charity of course LOL I reckon that you are going to make them into layered flowers and make them into a headband.. am I right? Am I? Go on, say I am LOL :@))

  13. I think you may be saving some of your skirt, because it has such good memories attached to it, and it takes up less space than the whole skirt. Maybe you are making blag bling with it hehe did I cheat having two guesses?

  14. I'm with Julia. I reckon it's the long skirt gone short with flowers attached.

  22. There are several reasons why I cut up a favorite pc of clothing- there might be a hole in it too big to darn, it doesn't fit any longer! it's faded in some parts, or something spilled on it- or maybe you've worn it too many times!I always plan to make things out of a favorite dress or clothes my son wore when he was a kid as a sort of keepsake. 23. Glad you are back with us ...now to the conundrum .... What are you making?.... obviously a flower ... a huge one but no .. maybe a corsage...yep Final answer... a corsage for a wedding outfit.
Why are you cutting up your fav skirt? your shape has changed and you will never wear it as a skirt again ...this way happy times are remembered. sorry thats the best I can do lol

  24. I think the skirt is now too big for you. Initially thought it had been a mini-skirt and you've now outgrown them hehe. What's it going to be? Hmmm, a garland!
