as promised...

Here is the LO i completed at yesterday's class with Claire which was so much fun. The papers are by scribble scrabble and the ribbons are by basic grey. You can see Claire's LO here.

As usual, i didn't manage to make mine look much like the original {partly because i don't like copying!}, but it was great to learn how to make the fabric rosette flowers with synthetic fabric and a candle, and i do love to sew beads onto anything and everything...so i enjoyed that too!! lol

Perhaps you've guessed by now ;) but the photo is me at my hen party...and i plan to make a co-ordinating opposite page with the photos of all my girlie friends {including my MUM!} dressed as hippy chicks. It was such a fun evening!

and here is another idea for a cheap and easy Christmas gift...if your family/friends don't drink tea...how about a cosy scarf to keep them warm? This one is knitted from a colour changing wool which means you don't even need a pattern...just sew one row knit and one row pearl until you're happy with the lenght...then add toning fringing with a crochet hook! easy peasy...and snuggly to boot! these sorts of yarns come in all sorts of colour ways so its easy to find one for everybody you know :)

now...what's next...ooooh yes...i have finally given in and bought a BIA machine...so expect books!! lol

You won't regret buying the BIA - it's one my most used tools and opens up a world of opportunities! Love the layout!

Another one here with a BIA, used it loads at first but not made anything with it recently. Must put it to use again soon - so hoping you will inspire me with your makings!

Love that flower, too.
