Spring is springing...

...over at the Stampotique Designers' Challenge Blog this week...check out all the lovely spring cards here.

and here is my spring themed card...to me spring is all about the flowers and the wild life emerging and bringing a smile to my face...i hope i've conveyed that with this card? you'll let me know, i'm sure! ;0)

the stamps are by Hero Arts and Studio G, the chalk inks by ColorBox, the glitter pens by Sakura and the gems are from who knows where!! lol the central flower is a mix of fabric flowers cut on the Big Shot and paper flowers, with a mahooosive brad and an extra gem in the middle...just in case the flower centres and the bodies/heads combo wasn't enough bling for you!

cards with an acetate window always look best with the light coming through them...which is tricky to photograph without the card front looking dark...but i hope you get the idea...the sheerness of the the fabric flowers is really pretty with the sunlight behind them :0)

ok...so now its your turn...have you entered yet??

Gorgeous card - love the acetate window, the flower is great and all those dragonflies - must have taken you ages!

Beautiful card - love the window and the way the light comes through adds more dimension to the card.
