don't you just love *happy girls*???

all throughout growing up, and early adulthood...i've always had a lot more male friends than female ones...they seemed to be more into the things i was into {music festivals mainly...and the seaside in winter or at night~time}...i loved it...and a couple of *them*, too ;0)

regulars will know that i have a chronic illness...trust me...there is a link here...and its this:
alot of guys just don't *get* being ill and having to rest...they don't handle it well when you can't do the things you used to do...and they struggle alot when you're angry and frustrated because they just want to *fix* things...so, to cut a long story short...i have lost touch with alot of my male friends since i became ill...and there was a *friendship vacuum* that i needed to fill...

and these girls are the ones that filled it!
i didn't realise how special girl~friends could be...how fun it is to drink pink plonk and be giggly...to drown our sorrows in chocolate and scrapping...and to mutually *ooooh* and *ahhhhhhh* over the latest pp's or embellishments...our sorrows are actually minimal...because our lives are generally good...but together...we are seriously *happy girls* :0)

i love you girlies xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

ok, so apologies if i've bored you with all that sentimental waffle...i'll try not to indulge myself too often ;0) and i'll leave you with a close~up of this flower embellishment i made and i just love! the pp and the ribbon flower came from this month's Scrapagogo kit...but i have altered the flower by removing the bling centre and sewing a button in its place...and i've added a stick pin to each petal {also from this kit}...and a tiny floral rubon to the corner...do you like it?

right...off to chill...the heat and i do not get on well...happy day to all who pass by...and to all the people especially who've been leaving me a little love...you girls are just what the Dr. ordered! :0)
