welcome...
i love to give a warm and hearty welcome to visitors to our place...so i've made this banner to hang over the large mirror in the hallway...i don't think anyone will miss it there!
as you can see...its a simple affair...in the spirit of stash busting...i've simply used some SEI letter coasters that i've had for yonks...cropadiled small holes in either side...and tied the whole things with scraps of skinny ribbon...so easy...and it took about 5 minutes to do, which is always a bonus!
i've also done another of Shimelle's class prompts this week...to look at journalling and different ways to incorporate it into a LO...do you always journal on a square block in one corner? try mixing it up a little...this is based on one of her sketches...but if you're observant...you'll have noticed that i journal like this quite often...around the edge of my page or my photos...so maybe i need to try harder to mix things up!
i'm also on a mission to use up my brad stash...and so i've made borders to frame the photos...using any brads i had in the appropriate colours...and gotten myself busy with the pokey tool! ;0)
hope all is crafty with you...sunday smiles :0)

Love your sign - bet your mum needs one of those in her new house?? What a sweet LO and who is the little cutie??
Great banner and fab LO. Peek a boo is just the best game when you're little!
Love the banner! Fab layout, I also tend to often journal around my page. Great idea for using up brads, I will have to give that a try as I don't seem to use them that often anymore! :)
This banner is great! and those photos are soooo cute!
I love your welcome banner and how sweer your little peek-a-boo page is. What a doll!

What a clever way to use the coasters! And a great way to reduce the brad mountain. :)
